Position Summary

The Global Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth with existing corporate multi-location global account customers, as well as successful onboarding and development of new corporate customers. Responsibilities will include building out client reporting and insights, developing and maintaining strong relationships by supporting our key clients through the day-to-day interactions, and increasing market share within designated accounts.  

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred, or equivalent business experience.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite and CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Experience in building relationships, engaging with, and value selling to C-Level Suite
  • Experience in developing and writing contracts & supply agreements.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Converters, Tiered Suppliers & CPGs/OEMs
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and growing multi-location and global account portfolios.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of strategic key account plans for regional business and coordination of plan development for global key accounts with global internal team.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with new and current key customers at all organizational levels between Flexcon and customers, particularly at the senior level.
  • Increase market share by demonstrating brand value and preference with designated key accounts and geographic area.
  • Negotiate Corporate (multi-location) bids and rebate packages, collaborating with various cross-functional teams to recommend best product solutions as needed.
  • Develop and revise business proposals with existing accounts by analyzing historical data on customer spending, as well as considerations of client objectives, timing, product offerings, product performance and inventory availability.
  • Provide a high level of customer intimacy to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolution of potential issues.
  • Identify critical areas for improvement by diagnosing all aspects of our engagement at each location, while targeting those with the biggest upside potential for growth and partnership.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development in identifying brand owner pull through opportunities to increase strategic and profitable brand awareness and growth.
  • Learn and build knowledge base on Flexcon’s products and applications and how they can support key accounts and/or customers.
  • Ensure effective cross functional communication across the internal teams to understand and anticipate customer needs.
  • Build professional networks and leverage Industry events to ensure Flexcon’s success and brand exposure.
  • Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned. 
  • Travel - 50% (including international travel which is required)
