YOUR IMPACT
Redwood Software is looking for a data-driven, process-focused, ambitious Director, Marketing Operations to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of our marketing operations and analytics framework. Your work will be critical to ensuring our marketing strategies are data-informed, efficient, and aligned with our company goals.
Marketing Technologies
- Define and manage the marketing operations roadmap: Drive the evaluation, selection, integration, and consolidation of marketing technologies, ensuring alignment with department needs and goals.
- Technology management and collaboration: Manage the marketing technology stack, ensuring platforms are optimized, integrated, and supported in partnership with marketing, revenue operations, and IT.
Analytics
- Marketing analytics framework: Build a comprehensive approach to model/analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, attribution, and marketing ROI, highlighting key metrics and trends for improvement.
- End-to-end funnel and performance tracking: Oversee reporting on key funnel metrics, volume, conversion rates, and performance analytics across marketing programs to optimize results.
- Data reporting and actionable insights: Develop dashboards, reports, and slide decks that provide marketing metrics and strategic insights, delivering regular updates to the marketing and executive teams to inform decisions.
- Drive insights through data: Conduct analyses with the marketing analytics team to assess acquisition value, program optimization, and uncover new opportunities.
Optimization and Collaboration
- Process optimization: Design, document, and streamline templates and processes for efficiency, working to continuously simplify systems, optimize workflows, and improve campaigns.
- Database management and data quality: Maintain data cleanliness and integrity across marketing platforms, ensuring high-quality data reporting (leads, segments, Salesforce campaigns, etc.).
- Lead/account routing: Maintain and optimize systems for routing leads and accounts appropriately.
- Cross-functional collaboration and efficiency: Partner closely with teams to optimize data flows, marketing budget usage, and align operations across departments.
- Testing: Experience with establishing structured tests and testing methodologies.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
5+ years in B2B Marketing Operations, with experience in strategic planning, hands-on execution, and leading marketing operations/analytics teams.
10 years general B2B tech marketing experience.
Advanced proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, BI, and key marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach, Qlik, LeanData, ZoomInfo, Cognism).
Experience managing individuals and teams.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
Proven experience leveraging data for strategic decision-making and identifying new opportunities.
Solid understanding of Digital Marketing fundamentals, SEO, SEM, and paid advertising.
Track record of successfully building and optimizing processes across departments and priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
