About our group:

The Enterprise Channel COEM team has an outside sales position opening to develop and grow strategic channel customers in the VIA surveillance space. We are seeking a dynamic and results driven outside sales representative to join our team in the VIA business vertical. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with strategic customers in the surveillance industry, driving sales of Seagate’s storage solutions, and contributing to the growth and success of our Seagate portfolio. Sales representative will work directly with the customer to understand their business needs and incorporate these objectives into Seagate business goals.

About the role - you will:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the surveillance sector, including OEMs, system integrators, and value-added resellers. 
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed quarterly sales quotas. 
  • Conduct product presentations to showcase Seagate’s storage solutions, highlighting their benefits for surveillance applications. 
  • Create and manage weekly demand forecast by SKU and prioritize with customer and internal operations teams. 
  • Manage the entire sales process, including qualification of new products and end-of-life management. 
  • Work closely with Seagate’s internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote Seagate’s VIA solutions and expand the company’s network. 
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to surveillance solutions. 
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market feedback, and emerging opportunities to management. 
  • Analyze and interpret sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies. 

About you:

  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm. 
  • Ability to negotiate.  
  • Excellent presentation and relationship building skills. 
  • Must have ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and have an ability to    lead other team member. 
  • Broad understanding of the data storage market and system architectures (NAS, SAN, SDS). 
  • Exceptional communications skills: written, verbal & formal presentations; critical thinking skills essential. 
  • Excellent listening skills. 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team. 
  • High level of integrity and work ethic. 
  • Ability to travel. 

Your experience includes:

  • This position requires approximately 30% travel.  The successful candidate will be willing and able to meet travel requirements (Domestic & Internationally). A valid driver’s license and passport is required as well as the ability to qualify for a company-sponsored credit card. 
  • Experience with business-to-business selling in a technology-based industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

The estimated base salary range for this position: $66,664 - $99,002. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
