Job description

This is a remote position.

Our Business Consultant will be responsible for gathering and defining business processes, business requirements, business pain points and synthesizing findings into comprehensive solutions for both technical and non-technical teams to comprehend. The business consultant acts as the bridge between IT and the business to ensure that the business needs are being met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate with key business stakeholders to gather requirements, business needs, and strategic goals.
Develop and communicate Enterprise Data Management topics to business and technical resources.
Ability to communicate and translate technical information appropriately to different levels of the client organization.
Gathers requirements using Agile methodology and ensures business alignment.
Verifies, traces and manages functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Facilitate and capture business/technical requirements from legacy systems for modernization.

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

Proven capabilities in business analysis.
Knowledge of formal requirements gathering methodologies.
Confidence in tackling new business or technical challenges.
Confidence in conversing with clients and gathering business requirements.
Experience creating business process flows.

Requirements

3-5+ years demonstrated success as a Business Analyst or similar role
Fluent in German and English
Excellent oral and written communication.
Disciplined curiosity: interest in asking ‘why’ and synthesizing important findings into alternatives and recommendations
Role is remote, but has potential for up to 25% travel (Monday through Thursday)
