What you'll do here:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Learning Designer (LD) to join our ed2go team. The LD will play a pivotal role in shaping the content strategy of our products to align with the product strategy. This position requires a deep understanding of digital learning, curriculum development, and industry best practices to ensure our educational products meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities:
Develop detailed Learning Design Plans that align with Cengage standards and the Product Strategy Document.
Analyze, design, develop, and implement learning curricula and content in collaboration with the product team.
Work closely with SMEs, Content Project Managers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality products. Continuously vet content against the strategy and vision.
Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date on digital learning, learning science, and pedagogical trends and methodologies.
Contribute to and advocate for learning within the team, driving continuous improvement in learning curriculum design standards and learner outcomes.
Measure and evaluate the learning experience, capturing and analyzing metrics to provide insights and assess the impact of content strategy and product pedagogy/design.
Ensure rigorous quality control standards are in place and executed.
Resolve content-related support issues quickly and systematically.
Skills you will need here:
Proven experience in learning design, instructional design, or a related field.
Experience with Backwards Design
Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and learning science.
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with e-learning authoring tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s level of education or professional training program in education, instructional design, educational technologies, or other related fields.
Fluency in Spanish: ability to draft, review, and comprehend content in Spanish.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
