We're adding a Lead Data Product Manager who will join our Data team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of our data product strategy, ensuring that our data products meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, product management, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality data products that drive business impact.

Location:

While we are open to remote work across the contingent US, we are still establishing our company to support work in all states! We are set up to support employees who want to be fully remote, in-office only or a mix of the two.

Please note: We will not support hiring based in California, Massachusetts, New York, or New Jersey.

What You'll Do: 
  • Strategy Development: Define and execute the data product strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives and customer needs. This includes crafting a roadmap.

  • Product Management: Lead the end-to-end product management lifecycle for data products, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and ongoing optimization.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with data engineering, data science, product management, and other teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.

  • Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and pain points and use this knowledge to guide product development and improvements.

  • Data Governance: Ensure data products comply with data governance standards, privacy regulations, and best practices.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements to existing products.

  • Performance Tracking: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of data products and use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Leadership: Mentor and guide junior product managers and other team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

What We're Looking For: 

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for folks with a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management with a focus on data products or analytics with the fin-tech or e-commerce industry

  • 5+ years of experience with Snowflake and Looker

  • Strong understanding of logical and physical data modeling 

  • Strong understanding of data engineering, data science, and analytics concepts

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing data products

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Experience with data governance, privacy regulations, and best practices
