Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the insurance operations team, including maintaining records, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and managing documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to insurance operations, such as policy issuance, claims processing, underwriting, and premium collections. Identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Policy Administration: Assist in the administration of insurance policies, including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation and records.
  • Customer Service: Provide support to agents and other stakeholders by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns related to insurance policies, coverage, and claims.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist in monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards related to insurance operations. Help ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and trends in insurance operations. Present findings to management and stakeholders as needed.

Others:

  • Provide administrative support to underwriters with a strong focus on data quality and clearing backlogs (incl - Prepare quotes, binders, and policies)
  • Assisting in resolving technical queries from brokers and internal departments (finance, risk, etc.)
  • Provide a clear and stable day-to-day operating model and take an active part in modernizing business process
  • Maintain proper file documentation for all underwriting accounts and ensure up to date records are maintained at all times on the Company systems
  • Assist with managing invoicing and payment process and tracking of same

Requirements

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant area of study.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar insurance-related role.
  • Strong familiarity with insurance policies and underwriting operational processes preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Advanced skills across all Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in performing accurate mathematical calculations.
  • Analytical thinker with sound judgment and creative decision-making skills
  • Collaborative team player who engages effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superb project management skills, allowing you to lead initiatives with confidence and drive successful outcomes.
  • Self-motivated and ownership mindset, enabling you to handle multiple, often competing, priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence in your work.
  • Availability to work outside of core hours and willingness to travel overseas, as required, reflecting your dedication to meeting business needs.
  • Advanced data analytics skills (SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Excel) to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and enhance reporting capabilities is a huge plus.
