JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities include support to assigned portfolio assisting with the vendor cycle including supplier record setup and maintenance in accounting systems and assistance with the supplier compliance program, third-party credentialing processes, and e-procurement/expense management system. Maintain supplier attributes in different owner accounting systems. Report on the success of different processes, participate in ongoing process improvements through review and feedback and maintains relationships with team members and communities. Troubleshooting, training and education needs for assets within assigned portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist communities with the supplier compliance program, third party credentialing system, e-procurement/expense management system, and continuous training on processes within these systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of supplier requirements and order and invoice processing procedures to ensure all processes and procedures are followed.
  • Maintain knowledge and comply with owner regulations of all the accounting systems used by any managed community.
  • Interact with various departments to ensure smooth changes and processes are understood and followed.
  • Provide ongoing supplier support by maintaining the system queue and responding to tickets and e-mails.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • College degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Prior customer service/help desk support preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to prepare and explain data to team members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management (Yardi), and database management programs in order to complete required reports preferred.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions, and calculate percentages in order to complete financial records, budgets, and other fiscal reporting information.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
