Expana, a leader in providing critical data to some of the world’s largest food, pharma, and industrial companies, is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative. In this role, you'll connect with top-tier companies, identify and engage potential customers, and develop targeted sales strategies that drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and Engage: Research and reach out to potential customers through calls, emails, and social media.
  • Qualify Leads: Ensure prospects align with our ideal customer profile and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Develop Strategies: Create and execute targeted sales strategies to build relationships and address client needs.
  • Optimize Sales Funnel: Collaborate with Account Executives and marketing teams to maintain a smooth lead-to-opportunity transition.
  • Track Performance: Monitor key performance indicators and report on conversion rates and pipeline progression.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A BA/BS or equivalent, with 2+ years in Sales Development, Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
  • 2 years of direct SaaS sales experience.
  • A strong work ethic and a passion for learning and connecting with prospects.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like SPIN, Challenger Sales, or MEDDPICC.
