The Opportunity:
The Director of Agile Process & Coaching is responsible for coaching and driving an organization-wide Agile transformation and managing a growing servant leadership team to deliver world class Agile practices. You will be responsible for championing, governing, scaling, and measuring the success of our operating frameworks. You will oversee a team of Agile Leaders in the roles of Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer. The role includes coordinating and training across departments to promote a collaborative approach to Agile Software delivery focused on driving business value and accountability. The Director of Agile Process & Delivery will act as change agent, mentor, and evangelist to influence the adoption of an Agile mindset and practice; driving discovery of fresh practices, innovating new ways to collaborate, and to “be” Agile. He/She will own the Agile Delivery process for Ensemble IT using SAFe principals and Program Increments and will facilitate organizational learning, change management, and process adoption of Agile via metrics, benefits realization, outcomes, and retrospective findings

Essential Job Functions
- Develop and grow a team of RTE’s and Agile Practitioners - including work assignment and tracking, career development, coaching and mentoring while also supplementing staff in that role as needed
- Serve in the role of "Agile Coach" through championing, training, and mentoring across the organization
- Build and lead Agile community of practices to support high performing teams
- Establish, maintain and execute an effective communications plan serving all stakeholder needs. Ensure team clarity on objectives, scope, and roles, and communicates the work plan with regular and meaningful reports on status and performance
- Create an environment that meaningfully values and promotes autonomy, skill mastery, empowerment, transparency, innovation, and learning
- Research Agile best practices and techniques and bring them to the organization
- Work in collaboration across stakeholders and teams for successful delivery outcomes
- Train key individuals throughout the organization on Agile frameworks for better enterprise adoption and overall practice execution
- Monitor and manage Agile Release Trains performance focusing on key metrics to deliver; Value, Velocity, Quality and Predictability
- Ensure strong organizational information flow
- Create and maintain comprehensive Agile change management artifacts in Aha! and ADO
- Adhere to SAFe 6.0 best practices and tools for consistency across all Value Streams
- Partner with Product Management, stakeholders, and IT leadership to elevate our ability to build and maintain roadmaps with a sustainable delivery cadence and meaningful metrics
- Ability to travel as needed to support the projects estimated at up to 25% of the time
- Perform other duties as requested to support the Project Office, Clients and Business Units
- Lead a team of associates performing all human resources, recruiting, performance management and career growth management
Employment Qualifications
Ensemble Required License / Certification (Ex: CRCR)
One or more related Agile practitioner certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM, CSP, PSM, PMI- ACP) and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification or equivalent
