Summary of Job Duties:
Under direction of the DPC Chief of Staff, the Position Control and Staffing Analyst: Performs a wide variety of complex technical, specialized and responsible position control functions in support of the organizations position control and related to all employment. Provides information and assistance to organizational staff regarding a variety of position control policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in education, human resources, business, accounting, budget, finance, or a related area.
- Three (3) years of work experience in human resources, data analysis and accountability, position control/management and staffing, budget, finance, and/or related areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education, human resources, business, accounting, budget, finance, or a related area.
- Five (5) years of work experience in human resources, data analysis and accountability, position control/management and staffing, budget, finance, and/or related areas.

- Develops and participates in staff training for position control operations; maintains operational internal controls; recommends changes to procedures or policies to improve data quality and efficiencies in the process and related position management activities.
- Works with and provides assistance to organizational leaders on position control matters; generates specialized reports; compiles data as requested; answers all correspondence, etc. and serves as liaison with organizational leaders to maintain the integrity of position management.
- Receives, reviews, processes and tracks all position requests and position management review requests using ServiceNow and other systems as necessary; verifies productivity in PowerBI, prepares the weekly agenda in Excel for the Workforce Review Committee (WFRC); instructs on updating requests in Workday based on decisions from the WFRC.
- Performs other duties as needed.
