Job description

Are you an accomplished Business Development expert with a robust background in chemical sales, particularly in silane-based products? Our client, a globally recognized chemical industry leader, is expanding its presence in Germany and is on the lookout for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth in the German market.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute a detailed sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and enhance market share across Germany.
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects within key sectors that utilize silane products, such as automotive, electronics, construction, and specialty chemicals.
  • Foster and sustain strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders by understanding their needs and providing bespoke solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with teams in product development, technical support, and marketing to align on offerings that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analyze competitors to spot new trends and growth opportunities within the silane industry.
  • Leverage deep expertise in silane products and applications to serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients recognize a distinct competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales within the chemical industry; proven experience in Silane product sales is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of silane chemistry and applications across multiple sectors.
  • Proficiency in German and English is required for seamless client interaction and internal communication.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant field is ideal.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Germany, with occasional international trips as needed.
