As a Partnership Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing bswift's relationships with key integration and alliance partners. This position requires a strategic and consultative approach, where you'll lead initiatives to grow revenue, drive operational efficiencies, and create mutual value with our partners. In close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners, you’ll develop and execute partnership strategies that elevate bswift’s market presence and ease the integration of partner services for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for integration/alliance partners, bswift clients, and internal stakeholders, fostering productive, long-term relationships.
Consultative Selling: Understand partner and client needs to recommend solutions from bswift’s full suite of enrollment technology and service capabilities.
Strategic Collaboration: Align partner goals with bswift’s objectives, identifying collaboration opportunities that maximize mutual value.
Product Integration: Explore integration pathways for partners within bswift’s platform, drawing from a broad spectrum of product offerings.
Advocacy: Represent partner interests internally, ensuring their needs and goals are understood and met.
Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations, structuring product offerings, financial arrangements, and capabilities to optimize sales and maximize revenue.
Market Presence: Establish and maintain a market presence by participating in industry forums, collaborating with peers, and cultivating market relationships.
Pipeline Management: Manage the partner pipeline and prospect registration processes, following sales protocols to support partner efforts in selling to bswift’s clientele.
Representation: Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for bswift’s technology, products, and services to partners.

 

Qualifications and Skills
Experience: 6+ years in sales or partner management, preferably with a background in benefits administration, software, or the insurance industry.
Partnership Expertise: Strong understanding of partnership models and strategies.
Relationship-Building: Proven ability to cultivate relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
Sales Acumen: Skilled at navigating complex selling scenarios with senior resources such as executives, procurement, and finance.
Consultative Approach: Experienced in representing products in a consultative manner, leveraging market trends and data.
Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Self-Starter: Proactive, self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Preferred.

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $120,000-130,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
