Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to steer organizational change management (OCM) and process improvement projects for our esteemed federal government clientele. This pivotal role focuses on executing strategies designed to optimize operations, improve organizational performance, and facilitate business transformation. As the leader of cross-functional teams, you will oversee business process reengineering efforts and assist clients in navigating comprehensive change management initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Direct and oversee OCM and process improvement initiatives across various departments, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with senior client stakeholders, effectively communicating project objectives, progress, and challenges.
  • Change Management Strategy: Formulate and execute detailed change management plans, incorporating change readiness assessments, communication strategies, human capital evaluations, and training programs.
  • Process Improvement: Assess current client processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and devise solutions to elevate operational performance.
  • Team Management: Lead a diverse team of consultants, analysts, and program personnel, guaranteeing the timely achievement of program objectives and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure the seamless execution of process improvement projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing improvement by recognizing and pursuing opportunities to enhance business processes.
  • Contract Management: Supervise contract execution to ensure adherence to federal contract obligations and deliverables.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for client inquiries and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project duration.

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale OCM initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of business process reengineering (BPR) methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and communication.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated with organizational changes and process improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making acumen.
  • Public Trust clearance or the ability to secure one.
  • Experience collaborating with federal agencies, particularly in the areas of organizational transformations and process optimization.
  • Practical experience with Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement methodologies.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is mandatory.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a significant focus on organizational change management and process improvement, ideally within the federal government or public sector.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree in business, organizational development, or a relevant field is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is mandatory; additional certifications in Change Management (Prosci, CCMP, etc.) are highly desired.
  • PMP or PgMP certification is also a requirement.
