Your mission is to enable your team to excel, driving significant sales growth across both Labster and UbiSim product lines. By implementing innovative strategies and fostering a culture of continuous learning and ownership, you will invest in scaling up our sales force, positioning us to make an even greater impact in the education and healthcare sectors. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding our reach, breaking down barriers, and bringing our immersive technology solutions to institutions eager to empower their students and professionals.

Location: United States (Remote) - Central or East Coast Time Zones near major airport

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Develop and execute a sales growth plan

  • Drive New Logo Acquisition: Develop and execute a comprehensive new logo acquisition strategy that accelerates growth across both mid-market ($10K ARR deals) and enterprise-level deals ($100K ARR) in the education and healthcare sectors.

  • Scale the Sales Organization: Identify opportunities for expansion and actively recruit, onboard, and grow the sales team to meet increasing demand and expand market coverage.

  • Optimize Sales Processes: Streamline and improve the inside sales process to increase efficiency and shorten sales cycles, while maintaining a consultative, multi-stakeholder sales approach.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives and ensure smooth handoffs from lead generation to deal closure.

  • Manage Pipeline and Forecasting: Ensure consistent pipeline development and accurate forecasting, providing transparency into team performance and contributing to quarterly and annual revenue targets.

  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions and healthcare systems, understanding their pain points and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.

  • Champion a Values-Driven Culture: Uphold and promote Labster and UbiSim’s core values of empathy, continuous learning, and ownership, creating an environment where the sales team is motivated and aligned with the company’s mission.

Competencies

  • Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.

  • Healthcare and/or Education Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique challenges of selling into the healthcare (preferably nursing) and higher education sectors, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and stakeholder management in these fields.

  • Track Record of Success: Strong history of achieving or exceeding sales targets, including recognition such as President’s Club, with a consistent top-performer record compared to peers.

  • High-Velocity Inside Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing fast-paced, high-velocity inside sales teams focused on new customer acquisition

  • Enterprise Sales Skills: Deep experience in navigating multi-stakeholder sales processes, managing complex sales cycles, and securing large deals, particularly in education and healthcare procurement.

  • Strategic Thinking and Execution: Ability to create and execute effective sales strategies that align with company objectives, optimize team performance, and drive growth.

  • Pipeline Management and Forecasting: Expertise in pipeline development, opportunity management, and accurate forecasting to ensure predictable revenue growth.

  • Motivational Leadership: High-energy, values-driven leadership style, capable of rallying the team to perform at their best while maintaining alignment with company culture and values.

  • Consultative Selling Approach: Ability to employ a solutions-oriented, consultative selling style, aligning customer pain points with product solutions to close deals effectively.

  • Adaptability and Resilience: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to pivot and manage ambiguity while maintaining focus on long-term goals.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analytical skills to leverage data insights for optimizing sales processes, improving team performance, and identifying areas for growth.
