Are you ready to take on a new professional challenge? We're looking for you, the new Business Analyst - PDM / PIM!

Our Swiss international client has embarked on a global ERP and Warehouse management rollout and they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst, who will play a crucial role in the specification and improvement of templates.

In this role, you will ensure the integration between different applications and handling all the product information management focusing on data and using Microsof Dynamic 365 SCM. You will be travelling occasionally across the globe and you'll collaborate with diverse teams eager to learn and grow!

Main tasks: 

  • Support requirements analysis:
    • Conduct workshops to gather, understand and prioritize business requirements related to product information:
      • either in the context of the continuous improvements for the current business (template on D365 and PIM setup)
      • or for the integration of Business units from the legacy ERP to the new ERP on D365 (Fit/Gap Analysis).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear requirements.
    • Work out and document business specifications that will be used for functional design specifications
  • Support System design and optimization:
    • Design and model solutions that meet business needs together with Business Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the external System Providers.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of the existing systems.
  • Data Migration
    • Analyze local data and deviations to template
    • Define migration logic, rules and field mappings of the Business Unit to be implemented in addition to the existing migration path
    • Validate migrated data
  • Data management and quality:
    • Monitor product information in the ERP and MDM system based on defined data quality measures.
    • Ensuring data quality, consistency and completeness by delivering basics for optimizations to be processed by the business.
  • Integration and interfaces:
    • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate D365 and the PIM system with other business applications (e.g. AX2012, legacy ERP, e-Shop).
    • Ensure that data flows seamlessly between systems.
    • Specify, coordinate and overview the integration of new or changed datasets in the MDM and all relevant interfaces.
    • High-quality documentation of data mapping and data lineage
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Conduct tests to verify the functionality and accuracy of the customization
    • Validate whether the solution meets the business requirements in terms of functionality, user friendliness and performance.
    • Plan and Coordinate Business Testings with SMEs and Super Users.
  • Training and Support:
    • Training users in using the systems.
    • Providing support and resolving issues.
  • Documentation:
    • Create user manuals and process documentation.
  • Project management:
    • Engage in PIM Projects and coordinate technical aspects with other teams
    • Represent PDM related topics and their status towards the management
    • Adherence to schedules and budgets.


Requisitos

Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hybrid technical and funcional experience with PDM and PIM systems (e.g. mS3, Stibo, Akeneo, Informatica PIM, etc.)
  • Experience working with D365 SCM or other SCM software
  • Knowledge of data modeling, databases and interfaces.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting information
  • Used to work within a team, independently and hands on
  • Analytical thinking, structured and good communication skills.
  • Open and positive personality
  • Excellent English (speaking and writing)
  • German is a Plus
