Amplify seeks a Business Systems Analyst specializing in ERP Finance (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Assets, etc.) & FP&A product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing the work of our Accounting and FP&A teams within our company. This role will work closely with product development, supply chain, sales, service, and finance teams to manage, improve, and drive efficiencies in Finance and Accounting business processes. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills working in a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of the Business Systems team to partner with the Accounting and FP&A teams to define and prioritize the product vision and strategy for ERP finance functions, including order management, general ledger, financial controls, revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, indirect procurement, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and other related financial transactions.
Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on analysis to senior management, highlighting opportunities for improvement and the impact of changes made.
Provide recommendations to the operational team and management regarding ways to optimize efficiencies.
Build business workflows that support and outline the processes the business follows to perform its functions.
Facilitate communication across departments to identify potential changes to upstream or downstream processes that impact financial transactions, statements, and reporting.
Leverage various datasets to solve complex issues and drive business decisions.
Perform/facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prioritize information for Change Control meetings, and acquire vital approval for the release and deployment of system changes.
Document system improvements for the end-user and deliver training sessions if needed.
Evaluate and research standard practices for department and cross-department strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications of the Business Analyst, Finance:
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related experience
Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes (5+ years)
Experience with Data management concepts and workflows
Solid research, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Experience communicating technical information to non-technical teams in a concise and understandable manner
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Experience successfully coordinating with professionals and managers/leaders internally and externally to meet timelines and requirements
Experience creating and delivering high-quality presentations on relevant topics to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications of the Business Analyst, Finance:
Master’s degree in computer science or MBA
Experience with ERP systems (Preferably Netsuite)
Experience with one or more of the following SaaS platforms: Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday
Six Sigma, Lean, PMP or comparable certifications
Previous Finance experience and background in the K-12 education industry
Experience working with Agile Methodologies and best practices
What we offer:

The gross annualized salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
