About The Role

  • This senior sales role suits a great team player who is highly sales driven, proactive, results-oriented, a dedicated high performer, and a keen learner. It offers abundant space for personal and professional growth.
  • In this role, you will be owning the full sales cycle from deriving the lead generation strategy and plan all the way to managing the customer experience, post-sales.
  • Act as the brand’s ambassador, developing goodwill and an excellent reputation by ensuring high-quality, pleasant, respectful, and professional customer interactions.  Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely responses
  • Research and understand the industry and market trends to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  • Ensure all target leads, contacts, opportunities, sales, and ongoing interactions with customers are recorded in Salesforce.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • For markets covered by distributors, work closely with distributors’ management, sales and commercial teams. Conduct weekly calls, sales training, customer presentations and sampling of products.
  • Assist management in identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Responsible for driving the ingredient strategy to achieve maximum sales, profitability, and market share in accordance with projected sales goals and financial guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and account acquisition experience in the special chemical industry, preferably branded ingredients for personal care products
  • Proven track record in B2B new corporate accounts development & acquisition and deal-closing are essential
  • Experience working with ingredient distributors is advantageous
  • Prior work experience in multinational companies is a definite advantage
  • Experience in working with an international team is essential
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Experience with Salesforce and Shopify is required
  • Has the proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting tools
  • Demonstrated command of analytical thinking, metrics-driven sales models and KPI’s
  • Clear understanding of go-to-market strategies within the skincare and personal care ingredient markets across multi-channels
  • Demonstrated skills and experiences in prospecting and managing sales pipelines
