Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for building strong relationships and driving results? McKesson is looking for an Strategic Account Customer Specialist to join our team and manage the overall health of several multi-million-dollar large accounts.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Processes: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with service level agreements and metrics for rostering, margin opportunity, and contract connections. -
  • Consultative Partner: Build dedicated relationships and serve as the single point of contact for day-to-day contract activities. -
  • Coordinate Efforts: Work closely with Account Managers, Customers, Group Purchasing Organizations, Contract Administration, Suppliers, and other business partners. -
  • Communicate Proactively: Keep account managers and customers informed about account health, GPO and contract connections, margin opportunities, and customer projects. -
  • Deliver Quality Resolutions: Interpret account issues, research available resources, and apply solutions efficiently. -
  • Make Informed Decisions: Navigate ambiguity and complexity to make sound decisions with imperfect information. -
  • Obtain Documentation: Coordinate with suppliers for supporting contract documentation and assist customers in resolving eligibility issues.

What We're Looking For:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence and professionalism.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze information, identify root issues, and resolve complex problems timely.
  • Adaptability: Quick to adjust and adapt to change.
  • Prioritization: Skilled in multitasking and balancing the needs of internal and external customers. -
  • Excel Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivots, formulas) and the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Big Picture & Detail-Oriented: Ability to understand both high-level and detailed perspectives.

Experience:

2+ years in customer, sales, or contract administration support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relationship Building: Ability to foster effective working relationships within and across organizational lines.
  • Independence: Able to work independently with minimal supervision. -
  • Results-Oriented: Focus on achieving results rather than completing tasks.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations and contract administration.
  • Salesforce: Experience with Salesforce is a plus. -
  • Executive Interaction: Comfortable interacting at the executive level.

Education:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.

$22.14 - $36.90
