Join our innovative team as Senior Account Manager on the Corbion Sales Team. Leverage your industry knowledge and superior client relationship skills along with Corbion’s market leader product portfolio to develop opportunities with assigned key accounts. Focus will be on business development that would benefit from the Corbion portfolio of solutions. This person will serve as a key member of the sales management team who contributes to the strategic direction of customer relationships and business growth. As Sr. Account Manager, you will manage and further develop key customer relationships. We strive to fully align with our customers, engaging to the highest level of contribution possible. Corbion's Sr. Account Managers lead and leverage development through consistent interaction, resource fulfillment, project collaboration, and creative innovation. Responsibilities also include determining appropriate methods to support significant levels of new & existing business development and manage and support all aspects of customer relationships. Desired candidates require strong account management, understanding of product, price, placement and promotion as it relates to these key accounts. Travel required to distribution business sites.


Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a key member of sales management team who contributes to strategic direction of customer relationship with key accounts.
  • Secure business with assigned account(s) with an emphasis on products and/or product development within core capabilities. Develop, plan and implement strategic selling plans, qualify customer targets, achieve sales objectives including volume, profit and expense to key accounts.
  • Manage the business relationship of existing major national account. Lead the efforts to become a critical supplier for new products, new uses for current products, i.e. expand our position and value to assigned customers. Partner with R&D, marketing and the sales team in the identification and delivery of new product ideas and collaborate on trends, innovative products, concepts, and product uses.
  • Conduct business reviews with accounts and develop opportunities to penetrate account.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Prior experience selling and managing accounts.
  • Strong Account Management and technical aptitude strongly desired.
  • Relationships or past sales contact with key customers preferred.
  • Relevant industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Should be able to identify best methods to bring products successfully to market.
  • Create and Prepare compelling sales presentations
  • Ability to integrate and analyze data.
  • Strong negotiations skills a must.
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, strong written skills, creativity, energetic, and adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to understand the customer’s needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Experience and ability to call on the highest level executives required and deal with cross functional departments.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s title and position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, location and business or organizational needs. The base salary range for this role is $112,000 to $170,000.
