About this Opportunity:
As the Head of Wealth Management Product, you will be responsible for orchestrating the product roadmap that encompasses platform technology, investment solutions, and comprehensive wealth management offerings. This role includes ownership of partnership relationships, pricing strategies, and go-to-market initiatives to ensure our solutions effectively meet the needs of advisors. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Berwyn, PA; NYC, NY; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY

In this role, you'll get to:

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Collaborate with the Wealth Management Leadership team, leading the development and implementation of a strategic product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic pillars and the evolving needs of the market

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute initiatives that enhance product offerings

Platform Technology Oversight

  • Oversee the optimization of technology platforms for all advisor facing wealth management solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience for advisors and clients

  • Lead the team responsible for collaborating with technology product managers to integrate new features and enhancements that drive operational efficiency and enhance portfolio management solutions deployed across all wealth offerings

Investment Solutions Development and Rationalization

  • Lead the design and execution of innovative investment products and strategies that align with client objectives and market trends

  • Work closely with the investment team to ensure robust and competitive product offerings

  • Assess legacy product solutions and lead rationalization efforts for product innovation and consolidation

Partnership Management

  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and service providers to ensure advisors have comprehensive wealth solutions to meet the needs of their clients

  • Negotiate partnership agreements and monitor performance to maximize value and effectiveness

Pricing Strategy

  • Rationalize pricing across the wealth solutions offered

  • Develop and implement pricing models for products and services that balance competitiveness with profitability

  • Continuously assess market conditions and adjust pricing strategies as necessary to remain competitive

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Design and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing efforts

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop positioning, messaging, and promotional plans that resonate with advisors

Advisor Engagement

  • Engage with advisors to gather feedback and insights, ensuring product offerings are tailored to meet their unique challenges and needs

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to create educational materials and training programs to support advisors in effectively utilizing new products and technologies

Market Analysis

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the wealth management landscape

  • Use insights to inform product development and strategic positioning

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation

  • Support professional development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with employees on a regular basis

  • Has exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Has strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making

  • Has familiarity with agile principles and practices, enabling quick adjustments and iterations based on feedback and changing market conditions

  • Possess skill in weighing trade-offs between speed to market and product quality, ensuring that rapid delivery does not compromise user satisfaction or long-term viability

  • Has ability to detect emerging trends and encourage and make recommendations for innovative change

  • Has ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment

  • Possess effective written, listening, and verbal communication skills.

  • Has a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree

  • Has a minimum of 10 years experience

  • Obtains Orion Industry Certification

  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:

$201,977.00 - $333,223.00

The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
