As a key member of the Home Office Operations team, the Operations Assistant position supports various administrative functions for Seneca’s home office in New York City.  In this role you will build and maintain key business support relationships, update and manage important business information, and be asked to assist with ad hoc projects.

 

 

What you will do for C&F:

  • Support Operations and other departments with general administrative duties and projects as needed
  • Answer routine inquiries and route technical questions to the appropriate function/person
  • Prepare check/wire requests for payment of multiple vendor invoices
  • Assist finance department with obtaining signatures on checks
  • Appropriately handle a variety of confidential materials
  • Provide support in the operational functions of the divisions
  • Assist mailroom with sorting and delivering mail
  • Scan received mail and task to appropriate workflow/recipient
  • Perform other administrative support duties as assigned (i.e., backup receptionist, assemble company mailings/policy documents)

 

What you will bring to C&F:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of work as an administrative assistant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with ImageRight not required but a plus
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Will abide by departmental policies and procedures, including authority levels, to comply with C&F's risk management controls

Salary ranges are available for all positions at this location, taking into account roles with a comparable level of responsibility and impact in the relevant labor market and these salary ranges are regularly reviewed and adjusted in accordance with prevailing market conditions. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $40,500.00 to a maximum of $59,400.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
