SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language. You will work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. A strong understanding of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FICO) and best practices in SAP development is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

ABAP Development:
- Design, code, test, and implement SAP applications using ABAP.
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms (RICEF objects), and conversions.
- Optimize existing programs for performance and scalability.

Collaboration with Functional Teams:
- Work with SAP functional consultants to gather and understand business requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and advice on SAP development best practices.
- Translate functional specifications into technical design documents.

Troubleshooting and Support:
- Debug and resolve issues related to SAP programs.
- Provide ongoing technical support for existing applications, ensuring system performance and availability.
- Participate in incident and problem resolution related to ABAP programs.

SAP System Integration:
- Develop and support integration between SAP and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs.
- Implement and support SAP Workflows.

Documentation:
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all development projects.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.

Upgrades and Migrations:
- Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.
- Perform necessary ABAP adjustments and customizations during upgrades.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming.
- Experience with RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Knowledge of ABAP Workbench, ALV Reports, ABAP Data Dictionary, and SmartForms.
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, FICO, PP, or others.
- Experience in SAP enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and custom developments.
- Integration knowledge using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, and Web Services.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and debugging ABAP programs.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills for interaction with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
- Knowledge of OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Exposure to SAPUI5 or other modern UI technologies.
- Experience with SAP Workflow, Adobe Forms, or WebDynpro.
