Job Overview

Are you a talented data engineer with a knack for designing effective and scalable data solutions? We invite you to join our fully remote team where you will play a pivotal role in advancing our data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construct robust data pipelines that facilitate the ingestion, transformation, and integration of data into our Azure SQL Server databases.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of SQL Server, including the development of stored procedures, tables, views, and applying optimization best practices.
  • Utilize SSIS for the creation and execution of streamlined ETL/ELT processes.
  • Leverage cloud technologies, specifically Azure SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory Pipelines, and Databricks, while being open to utilizing additional Azure services.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment, while also thriving in an independent work setting to deliver projects successfully.
  • Demonstrate initiative in expanding your understanding of diverse business areas and the associated data landscapes.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
  • In-depth proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, particularly with extensive datasets.
  • Strong background in ETL/ELT processes using SSIS.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions, specifically Azure SQL Databases, Azure Data Factory Pipelines, and Databricks.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while working autonomously.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and experience with PowerBI/SSRS Reports.
