Key Responsibilities

• Direct the planning and implementation of audit testing
• Supervise the documentation and evaluation of audit outcomes
• Provide mentorship and training to team members
• Guarantee the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, reports, and audit work papers
• Manage project timelines and budgets, effectively resolving any issues
• Develop thorough project work plans and execute essential test procedures
• Foster collaboration among teams to ensure project success
• Assist in business development initiatives, including proposal writing
  
  

Required Skills

• Expertise in GAO Financial Audit Manual (FAM)
• Proficient understanding of GAAP, AICPA, GAO, and FASAB standards
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines
• Experience executing financial, program, grant, or compliance audits
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or consulting, ideally within public accounting or professional services
• Aspirations towards obtaining a CPA license (preferred)
• Background in business development and proposal writing (preferred)

The salary range for this role is \(75,000 - \)95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
