Job Title: CPA, Audit Training Facilitator - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated CPA to join our team as an Audit Training Facilitator. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity for professionals looking to pivot from traditional public accounting roles. You will be instrumental in crafting and delivering dynamic training programs tailored to enhance the operational effectiveness of our clients, particularly those in governmental and non-profit sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the training needs of clients to develop tailored training strategies.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions using various formats, including live, pre-recorded video, and in-person engagements, with a focus on governmental audit practices.
  • Create comprehensive training materials, such as PowerPoint presentations and case studies, ensuring compliance with NASBA standards.
  • Instruct interactive accounting and auditing training sessions for a diverse audience.
  • Keep abreast of current accounting and auditing standards, adapting training content as necessary.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks related to training delivery and documentation, with some travel required at your discretion.

Required Skills

  • Active CPA license with substantial experience in a CPA firm.
  • Proven experience in designing and executing training programs.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent facilitation skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Proficient in developing training objectives and methodologies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Independent and proactive, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles is advantageous.
