Job Description
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and Azure services
  • Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ensure smooth data flow between various systems
  • Collaborate with data engineers and architects to integrate ADF pipelines with other Azure components such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Develop and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using ADF to manage large-scale data ingestion and transformation
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security in data workflows by applying best practices in cloud-based architecture and development
  • Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of data models, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval in cloud environments
  • Automate data processing workflows and optimize performance through the use of triggers, ADF pipelines, and monitoring tools
  • Develop APIs and web services to integrate cloud-based data workflows with .NET applications
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing .NET and ADF workflows to ensure they meet project requirements and performance benchmarks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time
  • Stay updated on Azure’s evolving data services and bring new technologies and best practices to the team

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of commercial experience in development with  a strong focus on .NET Core
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including creating, managing, and optimizing pipelines
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data orchestration in a cloud environment
  • Proficient in Azure services such as Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other related services
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration of data services into .NET applications
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure as code
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Terraform for automating Azure environments
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience in optimizing database queries and performance tuning
  • Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Functions
  • Familiarity with big data processing and tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop
  • Previous experience in data warehousing or data lake architectures
  • Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance in cloud-based environments. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
