Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and high-quality solutions. As an engineer you are a professional with several years of hands-on experience, possessing advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge. You excel in problem-solving, effective communication, guiding and mentoring other engineers, making critical technical decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of professional in data-related technologies.

Soft Skills

• Advanced English level.
• Open to learning new technologies.

• Good time management skills.
• Good mentoring and negotiation skills
• Strong technical support skills.

Required Skills

• Creation of ETL/ELT pipelines using Glue jobs and Python.
• Documentation of data engineering processes.
• Direct communication with stakeholders and internal clients.
• Data migration between cloud platforms (GCP and AWS).
• Monitoring of ETL pipelines to identify and resolve errors.
• Optimization of Python and SQL code to improve data ingestion/transformation processes.
