Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Receipt Poster to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this crucial role, you will contribute significantly to the management of our payment processes, ensuring accuracy in billing operations while enhancing the overall efficiency of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive and document payments and adjustments to accounts.
  • Post copays, deductibles, coinsurance, write-offs, and payments according to Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Apply recoupments in line with EOB guidelines.
  • Utilize account details to manage write-offs for inclusive CPT codes as directed by payers.
  • Execute system-related tasks to accurately post daily cash receipts, retractions, refunds, denials, and adjustments.
  • Consistently meet productivity standards while maintaining high-quality performance.
  • Handle sensitive information responsibly, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience in medical billing is preferred.
  • Strong comprehension of medical billing terminology and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
