Job Title: DBT Data Modeler with Snowflake (Remote)

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Own the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Data Vault 2.0 DBT and Snowflake.
  • Supervise the development and maintenance of data models to support business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to capture and analyze requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all data platforms.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Implement standard processes for data management and governance.
  • Monitor and solve data issues to ensure system reliability.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake SQL databases.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality work.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data architecture.
  • Chip into the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in data architecture and design.
  • Demonstrate extensive expertise in Snowflake SQL.
  • Have a proven background in the Provider domain.
  • Show proficiency in developing and optimizing sophisticated SQL queries.
  • Display good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Have experience with data management and governance standard methodologies.
  • Stay ahead with industry trends and advancements in data architecture.
  • Show dedication to maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Be adept at crafting and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
  • Certifications Required: Data Vault 2.0, DBT, Snowflake.

Salary And Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until October 27, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000.00 – $135,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
