Polsinelli, one of the fastest growing law firms in the country, is seeking an Enterprise Applications Administrator. Working in a small team, this position will support and assume increasing levels of responsibility for a range of firm applications, many of which are specific to the legal sector. The duties include: developing the necessary skillsets to install, configure, support and maintain new and existing applications, test new desktop builds, creating scripts and testing policies, developing supporting and initiating bug fixes, installing test patches, managing and deploying MS Office developments and enhancements including template management systems and troubleshooting all end user applications and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience gained within the legal or professional services sector, and familiarity or experience with legal applications such as: iRM Records Management, Intapp Intake, iManage Work 10 or similar DMS applications, Microsoft 365, Adobe products, application security software, and legal department specific software. Previous experience with network protocols, Active Directory, hardware builds and peripherals are additional positive skills.
Technical Skills
- Ability to work in a Microsoft and/or Azure Server environment. Some previous experience with Microsoft Server, SQL, AD and Windows systems are added strengths.
- Strong previous detailed experience with supporting Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office suite products (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio) is expected.
- Should have previous experience with identifying root causes for end user application issues and development of successful solutions to those issues.
- Experience with virtualized application deployments is a plus.
- Ability to produce technical documentation for systems as a reference for other team members.
Customer Service
- Perform relevant 3rd level desktop applications support to all staff on specific software platforms supported by the Firm and defined as the responsibility of the group.
- As required, liaise between Firm management, users and other IT personnel to consistently communicate status on open issues.
Technical Support
- Make recommendations to improve the use of Firm applications.
- Ensure preventative maintenance in your field of expertise is regularly planned and implemented.
- Participate in any projects that the Firm may require in order to meet its business goals.
Planning & Organization
- Work with IT management, IT Department team members and staff to integrate and continually evolve operations program/project management methods and practices.
- Ensure that risk assessments are made before all changes take place.
- Accurately anticipate timelines of day-to-day activities and projects and be prepared to regularly update status on any open or completed task assignments.
- Initiate actions and alternatives to avoid potential problem situations before they occur to increase the probability of desired outcomes.
- Adjust rapidly and frequently to new situations warranting attention and resolution.
- Make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Communication
- Participate in a good proactive working relationship between your team and other teams within the IT Department and the users.
- Communicate all downtime, regular preventative maintenance, security patch updates and software upgrades to all relevant teams.
- Comply with the IT Department’s change control system.
- Work with team members to coordinate day-to-day activities and development, working closely with direct manager.

The budgeted salary range for this position, based on experience and location, is $75,000 - $90,000.
