We are searching for a new member of our team who is eager to help develop applications for our Insurance Business customers in Europe. Together we grow professionally and take part in the integration of a global platform for product and policy administration – a complete solution for managing the whole insurance business, which has more than 100 implementations in 25 countries across the world.

Daily challenges

  • Analyze system and business requirements and develop specifications.
  • Cultivate creative problem-solving, delivering holistic and streamlined solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Develop, and deploy secure, maintainable, and efficient software products and systems.
  • Build APIs for smooth integration and a rapidly iterating product.
  • Enhance, upgrade, and optimize existing software solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze user activity and system performance data to drive insights that could benefit business decision making.
  • Contribute to the uphold of high software quality through exhaustive requirements gathering, testing, quality assurance, and collaborative code reviews.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and or user documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and transparency.
  • Adhere diligently to established service management, agile or waterflow procedures, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Work closely with client and account representatives on project activities.
  • Work with underpinning system infrastructure as required.
  • Effectively manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to junior and less experienced team members.
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

Experience and skills required

  • 3+ years of experience with GraphTalk
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, similar technical field of study or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Knowledge in the Financial or Insurance sector
  • Skills in relevant operating systems, build management, automation, and virtualization platforms. Understanding and ability to work in agile Scrum and DevOps environments.
  • Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Service oriented behavior and good communication skills to handle internal and external clients
  • Good command of English as the working language
