The USA Today Network is a leading provider of trusted news and information, with over 230 local publications. Our Education and Corporate Programs provide businesses and academic institutions with relevant news, empowering them to stay informed and engaged.
We seek a proactive and organized Account Marketing Manager to support our group sales accounts, including academic and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will help manage client relationships, increase program engagement, and assist in marketing campaigns to drive subscription activations and usage.
Base Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive engagement with our corporate and academic subscriptions.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure they maximize the value of their subscription by promoting it through internal channels and events with a focus on academic clients.
- Manage digital communications to keep subscribers informed and engaged, including welcome emails, academic outreach, and social campaigns.
- Assist in organizing promotional activities, such as contests, workshops, or on-campus events, in partnership with academic institutions. Travel to universities will be required for events.
- Support business development by identifying new partnership opportunities and assisting in client outreach.
- Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and continuous client support.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in marketing or account management, ideally in a media or educational environment
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and campaign execution.
- Strong client management and customer support skills
- Marketing Agency experience a plus
The annualized base salary for this role will range between $50,000 and $70,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications, and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable
