Job Title: Program Officer (Grants Systems and Operations) - Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Program Officer (Grants Systems and Operations) who will be instrumental in ensuring the effective functioning of our grant systems. This role entails overseeing the technology and processes that underpin our grant-making initiatives, ensuring they reflect our mission’s efficiency and effectiveness. You will be pivotal in supporting peer-run warm line programs across California, with a strong emphasis on the timely allocation of grants before the fiscal year concludes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer grant management software systems including Salesforce, AkoyaGo, Microsoft 365, Adobe, and Power BI.
  • Ensure the integrity of data and optimize processes for improved grant operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine grant processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement best practices, ensuring that the requirements of both grantees and funders are effectively integrated into workflows.
  • Supervise the logistical management of grants, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain automated workflows to streamline the grant-making process.
  • Provide training and technical assistance regarding grant management systems to both staff and grantees.
  • Collaborate closely with program and finance teams to ensure alignment of grant processes with overarching organizational objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized grant-related data, regularly generating performance reports.
  • Coordinate the timely development and submission of grant applications, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with grant management software and IT systems (Salesforce, AkoyaGo).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and Google Drive.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks while working both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary: \(85,000 - \)95,000 annually.
  • Full-time position (40 hours/week); Exempt (Temporary - Ends 6/30/25, pending funding renewal).
  • Primarily remote work with flexibility, requiring occasional in-person attendance in California.
