Job description

Manay CPA is hiring for one of our esteemed Partners, Ambrosia Luxury Travel, a premier travel agency based in Turkey, specializing in promoting Turkey, and its surrounding regions as a luxury travel destination. Dorak USA, on the other hand, focus on group and mass business travel arrangements. Both companies are dedicated to delivering exceptional travel experiences and promoting Turkey as a top-tier destination.

Position Overview: The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in North America. This role requires a dynamic individual with experience in both luxury travel and group/mass business segments. As a remote position, you will collaborate closely with teams based in Turkey. The position requires travel to attend tradeshows, events, and sales calls with key contacts and prospect accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
  • Identify target markets, key accounts, and industry segments to maximize business opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Negotiate and establish favorable terms and agreements with partners to enhance service offerings and competitiveness in the market.
  • Lead sales efforts to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts in both luxury and group/mass business segments.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and meetings with key and prospect contacts to promote services and secure business opportunities.
  • Represent the companies at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events to showcase services, network with potential clients, and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Organize and coordinate participation in events, including logistics, marketing materials, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to assess business performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Other duties within the scope of the position may be required from time to time.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the luxury travel and group/mass business segments.
  • Strong understanding of the United States travel market, with experience in promoting destination-based travel services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and remotely while delivering against targets.
  • Willingness to travel for tradeshows, events, and client meetings as required.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Turkish or other languages is a plus.
  • Candidates must sit in EST.
