Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Experience: 2-6 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Expertise:
    • 2-5 years of experience in selling IT services (not products or licenses).
    • Experience in outbound sales, including cold calling, LinkedIn, and email outreach.
    • Proven track record of closing sales and achieving targets.
    • Experience selling software services like Test Automation, Cloud services, resource augmentation, custom development etc.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy:
    • Strategize, create, and implement GTM plans to drive business growth.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop these strategies and own the execution.
  • Client Interaction & Development:
    • Build relationships with both existing and potential clients to create new business opportunities.
    • Research new market opportunities and identify key targets.
    • Maintain an updated client database and ensure regular follow-ups through cold calls/emails.
  • Consultative Selling:
    • Understand client needs and offer appropriate IT service solutions.
    • Respond to client queries and requests for proposals (RFPs) in collaboration with relevant teams (sales, operations, finance, etc.).
  • Collaboration & Forecasting:
    • Work with senior management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
    • Contribute to strategizing and planning new service offerings and exploring new markets.


Requirements
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and consultative selling abilities.
  • Domain Expertise:
    • Candidates from IT services backgrounds only (candidates with experience in other domains such as Byjus, manufacturing, retail, etc., will not be considered).
