Account Manager, Emerging Business - Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee an assigned portfolio of business, managing revenue streams exceeding $1,000,000 or an appropriate blend of revenue and complexity.
  • Stay updated on coverage options and market dynamics affecting your portfolio, ensuring clear communication of these insights to clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Assistants, Coordinators, Account Executives, and Producers to streamline operations.
  • Create comprehensive client deliverables, contribute to engaging presentations, and actively participate in strategic planning processes.
  • Maintain strong client retention by adhering to P&C practice service standards and methodologies.
  • Lead the Marketing and Renewal processes, including gathering pertinent information, assessing coverage documents, and negotiating proposals to provide tailored recommendations.
  • Facilitate strategic overviews on accounts, soliciting information from markets and clients while reviewing relevant documentation.
  • Foster and sustain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.
  • Conduct timely policy and contract reviews, clearly explaining complex details to clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in marketing and cross-selling additional coverage lines, utilizing team collaboration when addressing challenges or showcasing expanded capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A college degree is preferred; however, candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the insurance sector is required, with a focus on Technology & Life Sciences preferred.
  • Familiarity with Property, Casualty, Cyber, and Management Liability Lines is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
  • Fire & Casualty license is mandatory, and candidates must acquire applicable insurance licenses within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required, along with the ability to travel as needed.

Compensation And Benefits

Our anticipated salary range for this position is between \(75,750.00 and \)126,250.00, depending on geographic location, experience, and expertise. Additionally, this role is eligible for an incentive program with the potential to earn up to 8% of annual salary based on individual and company performance.
