Job description

Retirement Plan Participant Consultant - Remote (15-20% Travel)

Compensation: \(65,000 - \)100,000, with eligibility for bonuses

Location: Philadelphia, PA (fully remote options available, hybrid preferred)

We are currently looking for a motivated and proactive Retirement Plan Participant Consultant to become a valuable member of our team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver essential financial education to employees enrolled in retirement plans across the region. Your primary responsibility will be to guide participants through their options for 401(k), 403(b), and other retirement plans, aiding them in realizing their retirement aspirations. Additionally, you will build relationships and generate referrals for our wealth management advisors through both group and individual financial education sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participant Education: Conduct one-on-one or group discussions to impart knowledge about retirement plan options.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Organize and deliver financial education meetings, both in-person and virtually.
  • Primary Contact: Serve as the main point of contact for plan participants, leading the financial education efforts.
  • Client Engagement: Engage actively with clients and their employees to meet service expectations.
  • Preparation and Follow-up: Ensure thorough preparation for meetings and effective follow-up on deliverables.
  • Compliance Consultation: Collaborate with internal ERISA teams to ensure compliance across all client-related matters.
  • Timely Correspondence: Address client inquiries promptly, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
