Position: Senior Project Manager (PE) - Remote | Work From Home

Job Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will have the responsibility to:

  • Develop comprehensive project scopes, establish service fees, and negotiate contracts for engineering services.
  • Oversee project budgets and schedules while ensuring effective communication with clients.
  • Mentor and guide our skilled water/wastewater team.
  • Design and manage both linear and water/wastewater projects.
  • Regularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new business avenues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to manage client relationships, project budgets, and scheduling, while guaranteeing technical performance.
  • Surpass client expectations through proactive communication and timely updates.
  • Participate in industry conferences and presentations to broaden your professional network and visibility.
  • Strengthen document delivery, provide constructive feedback, and mentor fellow team members.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while assisting with proposal preparation.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered profitably, on time, and within budget constraints while fostering a culture of open communication.
  • Contribute to the professional growth of staff through training and project evaluations.
  • Uphold responsibility for personal development, project reporting, and the resolution of personnel matters.

Required Skills

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the capability to obtain one within six months of employment.
  • Minimum five years of demonstrated experience in the technical design of municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, along with effective budget and schedule management skills.
