Salary Information
  • Salary Range: $116,160 - $130,680 per year
  • Signing Bonus: Negotiable
  • Relocation Package: Full
Must-Haves:
  1. Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  2. Proven experience in managing a manufacturing maintenance department.
  3. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial).
  4. Minimum of 3+ years of successful experience in leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
  1. Understanding of OSHA requirements.
  2. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  3. Strong communication skills.
Job Description:

As the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer, you will report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for enhancing the reliability of plant equipment through dedicated support for performance systems, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and maintaining a strong Maintenance Excellence process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a comprehensive safety process to ensure employee safety and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain a reliability-centered maintenance process that enhances machine uptime, improves Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and reduces operational costs.
  • Provide leadership to the maintenance department to ensure high standards of equipment performance and plant condition.
  • Ensure that maintenance personnel are adequately skilled, qualified, and receive necessary technical training.
  • Scope and execute capital projects, participate in annual budgeting, and manage departmental expenditures.
  • Apply reliability tools to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Be an active member of the plant leadership team, facilitating communication and problem-solving to drive process improvements and performance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of OSHA requirements related to equipment safety.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop an effective team.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques (e.g., FMEA, 5 Whys).
  • Process-oriented with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and predictive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS preferred.
  • Minimum education required: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience in TPM or Reliability fields.
Compensation:
  • Annual base salary ranging from $116,160 to $130,680, plus an annual target bonus of 12.5% of base salary.
  • An annual discretionary bonus may be awarded based on business and individual performance goals.

Interview Steps:
  1. Submit candidate screening to the recruiter.
