Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable web applications and APIs.
  • Engage in hands-on coding and architecting workflows across various services and data storage systems.
  • Manage and mentor a talented team of engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding and software development standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure successful project execution.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Architect and oversee enterprise-level services for internal use and client-facing applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues in existing software solutions.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure utilizing platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and collaboration within the development team.

Required Skills

  • Over 10 years of hands-on software development experience, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or comparable.
  • Extensive knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) and modern web technologies.
  • Deep understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, along with familiarity in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools to facilitate seamless deployment and integration.
  • Understanding of message queuing systems or event-driven architecture.
  • A strong record of leading and mentoring software engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills for engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area.
  • A Master's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
