Program Management: Senior Account Manager (Hybrid)

Full time, Australia

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the assigned client portfolio of national (local country), regional, or global account(s), including client retention, contract negotiation, business consolidation, up-sell and cross-sell our products and services, financials (budgets, billing, payment, and profitability), business planning and reviews, establishing relationships with key decision makers in multiple regions, staff development, business continuance, escalation of operational issues, and supplier sourcing.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will

  • Provide key stakeholder management between BCD and the client, including identifying and presenting strategies for local/regional cost-saving and traveler satisfaction
  • Develop business plans, implement key deliverables, and measure results
  • Help develop Service Level Agreements for Service, Financials, MIS/CDS, Program Performance, Technology, and Communication Indicators
  • Assist with budgets and financials (including billing, payment, and profitability)
  • Help with the implementation of new business, working closely with national implementation teams to meet customer expectation
  • Work on team management, staffing, and career development (May manage the performance of direct reports and downline employees)

About You

  • Previous travel industry experience in account management or management role
  • Experience implementing and managing local, regional, or global clients
  • Thorough knowledge of business travel management, travel industry technology, and contract management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including public speaking and presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to cross-sell company services and products and sell preferred vendors
