Job description

Job Title: Key Account Manager Eastern Europe

Reports to: Commercial Development Manager Poland and Baltics

Location: Poland

Role Overview:

As the Key Account Manager for Eastern Europe, you are responsible for executing the commercial strategy for a group of markets in the region. A big part of this strategy is related to a significant increase in physical availability as well as executing the right route to market model by sales channel. You will oversee the development of our existing business across different channels. With an ambitious growth plan in place, you will be given the freedom and accountability to give substance to the commercial objectives as you strive to execute the overall commercial strategy in line with the regional commercial strategy.


Role Deliverables:

  • Work closely with the various WaterWipes and Distributor functions to develop the business roadmap and execute the sales strategy.
  • Further develop the WaterWipes business in Eastern Europe (New Partners, New channels, New Products)
  • Strategic account management: Identify and develop new business opportunities with distribution and retail partners in the assigned area(s) of the market
  • Manage the day-to-day WaterWipes business by working in synergy with our partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of sales within standard procedures, as well as in-market stock levels and ordering pipeline.
  • Ensure the growth of distribution levels as per the agreed yearly KPIs.
  • Take charge and follow up on marketing activities, collaborating with the brand activation team, our distributors, and partners.
  • Monitoring and reporting competition and market intel.
  • Bring relevant shopper and category insights and shape them into actionable in-store executions and activities.
  • Leverage business analytics to influence customer and company decision-making at top-to-top levels, utilizing internal/customer business systems.

Experience and Qualifications:

You should demonstrate a clear ability to develop opportunities into high performing, profitable sales streams. You should also be able to build and grow sales relationships with internal and external stakeholders, project team members and management leaders. The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic organisation is essential.

Additional requirements include:

  • Relevant third-level education and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the retail landscape across different sales channels.
  • Relevant experience in the FMCG industry and key account management.
  • Excellent communication, time management, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of P&L and strong financial acumen.
  • Versatile, self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, sales databases, and web applications.
  • Fluent command of English, Ukrainian/Russian is a must
