Job description

Job Title: Manager, Client Partnership Manager

Work Schedule: We cannot guarantee a specific number of work hours per week; however, current estimates call for 30 hours per week. Your work schedule can be flexible, as long as you meet all job responsibilities and attend regular virtual meetings as needed during normal business hours.

Job Classification: Non-Exempt, Hourly

This job reports to: Amanda Thacker Heidtke, Sr. Director, Client Partnership

Primary Location: Remote  (U.S. based)

Starting Hourly Rate: $90-115, depending on experience and location

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Manager, Client Partnership develops exemplary client relationships that create opportunities for deep partnerships with our creative teams, and are known as the "champion of our clients." 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracking individual account progress against strategic goals / KPIs set by lines of business
  • Following/reporting on department goals and targets on a regular cadence
  • Adhere to the process and systems with creative, program, and operations teams to provide the highest quality services for the clients. Escalate when systems and processes need evolution. 
  • Adhere and implement team norms on communications and tracking
  • Manage account growth initiatives on assigned lines of business
  • Cultivating and managing strong relationships with clients and key business leaders, and understanding their business strategy
  • Manage SLA agreements with clients, ensuring that all stakeholders comply with the provisions of the agreement
  • Convening cross-discipline teams to scope work and write project estimates
  • Running client retrospectives & feedback loops, setting the table for future engagements
  • Gathering metrics & case study info
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Seasoned client-focused communicator, strategic thinker, and problem solver who can continually identify ways for Tangible to deliver creative projects, solutions, and value to the client. 
  • Charismatic, ambitious, passionate, and able to ask smart questions
  • Able to inform creative work and support the ways in which that work is presented to an executive audience (often as co-presenter or facilitator)
  • Makes decisions to ensure creative team activities align to the stated project scope and works closely with producers to ensure projects do not go over-budget; can determine when a project may need change orders, and is comfortable navigating those conversations with the client
  • Can create meaningful relationships with senior-level client stakeholders, ensuring our work supports their goals, continually finding opportunities for relationship growth
  • Able to prioritize concurrent projects and efficiently manage time; able to work well under pressure and time constraints
  • Has a growth mindset and is a strategic driver of account growth; is comfortable conducting sales activities and negotiating scopes of work
  • Strong collaboration skills – works effectively as part of a virtual team or in person
  • Self-directed, and can work independently without a lot of supervision to accomplish goals
  • Quick learner who can pivot and adapt as client needs change

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Must have at least 5 years of agency experience in a senior marketing and/or strategic consulting role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry

WHAT WE WILL PROVIDE

  • This is a part-time, hourly position. There is no guarantee of hours, but our estimates call for 30 hours / week of project work.

  • Tangible supplies each employee with a computer, to be used for the purposes of work that will come preloaded with the software / licenses needed to do your job. Other personal equipment and peripheral devices (such as personal phones, monitors, printers, etc.) are not provided, but Tangible provides a small stipend per pay period to support personal devices and internet costs.

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time using a computer, mobile device, or phone
  • Work alone or with others virtually or in an office environment
  • Travel may be requested or required based on client needs
