Job description

This is a remote position.

Full-time 
Mon-Fri 9am-6pm Florida Time (includes 1 hr unpaid break)

Responsibilities:


Provide technical support to users via phone or email.
Assemble and upgrade PCs according to business requirements.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, including Windows 10/11 and Server 2012/16/22.
Set up and manage domain controllers to ensure smooth authentication and authorization processes.
Diagnose and resolve networking issues, including but not limited to connectivity problems, IP conflicts, and DNS issues.
Configure firewalls, open ports, and establish high availability redundancy for dual internet service providers.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions and optimize IT infrastructure.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.


Requirements:
C1 Level of English: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven expertise in assembling and upgrading PCs.
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2012/16/22).
Experience in setting up and maintaining domain controllers.
Strong troubleshooting skills for networking-related issues.
Familiarity with configuring firewalls, open ports, and ensuring high availability redundancy.
Proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and fax machines.
Effective time-management skills with the ability to establish reasonable deadlines for issue resolution.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in relevant IT areas (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional).
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
