SoundCloud is looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Manager, Growth Marketing who is focused on branding & creative strategy, and brand performance & insights to join our team. This team member will play a critical role in developing and executing the strategy for how we engage with our users through compelling story-telling, creative, and copy. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, this individual will work closely with the Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Product Management, and Consumer Programming teams and will experiment with various creative approaches to determine the optimal ways to interact with and engage our customer base.

SoundCloud is seeking a passionate and data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in optimizing our user experience through targeted lifecycle marketing campaigns. You’ll be responsible for campaign coordination & execution, testing/testing framework, analysis & insights, and cross-functional collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help manage the calendaring of one-off communications to ensure an optimized lifecycle experience
  • Monitor and report on the performance of ongoing lifecycle communications across email, push, and in-app channels
  • Develop frequent A/B and multivariate tests to optimize marketing automations and drive business impact
  • Develop and maintain a testing matrix to track campaign performance and showcase results to the organization
  • Code and deploy iterations on running campaigns, ensuring they align with our strategic goals
  • Identify and implement opportunities for personalization within the lifecycle to enhance user engagement
  • Use learnings from data analysis to advise CRM and Growth leadership on potential new initiatives
  • Collaborate with product, product marketing, and engineering teams to leverage advanced features of our marketing automation platform (MoEngage) for personalized communications
  • Strategically build and execute lifecycle marketing flows for different stages of the user journey

Experience and Background: 

  • 1-3+ years of experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
  • Experience in customer segmentation and list management
  • Ability to manipulate and create SQL queries
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for email code editing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with A/B testing programs for email, push, and in-app campaigns
  • Knowledge of the music industry or related fields

The salary range for this role is $67,000-$75,000 annually. The final salary offered will be determined based on relative experience, skills, internal equity, and location. We also offer a generous total rewards program - read more about additional benefits and perks below!
