Project Architect – Michigan (Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Royal Oak, Chelsea)

DISHER is currently partnering with a local leader in the A&E space to hire a Project Architect. They are seeking a creative and highly skilled Project Architect to join their team, where you will be responsible for planning, designing, and facilitating the execution of building projects, expansions, and renovations.

What you will get to do:
  • Design & Planning: Collaborate with clients to identify their requirements, budget, and timeline. Assist in defining project priorities and vision through preliminary sketches and options.
  • Client Collaboration: Work with clients to select materials, styles, colors, and address future expansion needs. Present designs, specifications, estimated costs, and construction schedules for client review and approval.
  • Project Management: Oversee the creation of detailed plans, integrating engineering, electrical, and HVAC considerations. Collaborate with construction teams to meet client specifications and manage contract awards.
  • Execution: Facilitate the building process from start to finish, making modifications as needed, and ensuring compliance with project goals.
  • Contracting: Prepare scale drawings, contracts, and requirements for construction bids.

  • What will make you successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred)
  • Five (5+) years of relevant architectural design experience
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Enscape)
  • Strong understanding of building systems, local codes, and construction methods
  • Active board licensure in the State of Michigan
  • Required profile
