Job Overview:

Applied Systems, Inc., the worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Digital Marketing Manager of Social Media to join our Marketing organization. This person will be responsible for managing all content promotion for Applied System's brands through effective use of social media channels. This role will prioritize enhancing brand awareness and achieving key performance indicators in alignment with marketing objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute social media content strategies in line with brand awareness and campaign objectives
  • Manage the social media content calendar, including product launches, brand campaigns, and major events
  • Craft compelling B2B/SaaS-focused social media copy
  • Engage with the community on social media platforms and manage user interactions
  • Oversee social media management tools and internal employee social media advocacy tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer and more.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Field Marketing, Public Relations, Product Marketing, Design, Events, People Team) to align strategies, content creation, and branding
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness to derive actionable insights using analytics tools and reporting
  • Stay updated on social media trends and advise the team on relevant changes to enhance marketing activities

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work Remotely or Hybrid from an Applied Systems office if located in Chicago, Atlanta or Toronto

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS social media marketing, with a proven track record in managing organic social channels
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, content formats, trends and advertising options
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using social media analytics tools to measure performance
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a talent for crafting engaging social media copy
  • Proactive and collaborative team player, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and their application to social media content optimization
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and platforms such as Canva, Adobe Express, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Marketing, Social Media, or related disciplines
