About Industry Services and Solutions Marketing

Industry Services and Solutions Marketing supports the CTO office and the teams that are delivering crucial services, data, insights, technology development & thought leadership and member engagement. It is a varied team providing both demand- and lead-generation activities for our products, services and membership as well as communications and promotion around key technology and membership priorities. MWC Barcelona is a significant platform through which the ISS Marketing Team can undertake these activities and drive real impact for both the GSMA, and the wider connectivity ecosystem.

About the Role


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Manager to join our team play a crucial part in driving the planning and execution of MWC Barcelona 2025, and potentially other key events. The successful candidate will assist in various marketing tasks, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient management of marketing assets and event-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics and Coordination:
•    Stakeholder management
•    Speaker management (GSMA & external, including C-Level)
•    Supplier management (AV, catering, IT, etc.)
•    Auditorium management (staging, seating, access, badge scanning, etc.)
•    Meeting rooms and necessary logistics, including AV support
•    Show Caller scripting & run-of-show creation/management.

Website and Content Updates:
•    Updates to gsma.com and event-related portals including copywriting and media deployment
•    CMS management/content (speaker bios, agenda, images, etc.)

File Management and Organisation:
•    Updating and maintaining MS Teams folders, ensuring all files are well-organized and easily accessible
•    Uploading of presentations and media files to event servers

Digital Content Creation/Management:
•    PPT editing, consolidation and show-reel compilation (may include on-site file editing)
•    Creating holding slides, agenda and speaker title slides
•    Creating new digital banners in accordance with brand guidelines

Post-Event Support/Reporting:
•    Assist with minor video editing and upload videos to YouTube via the Social Team
•    Uploading presentations to GSMA.com
•    Writing post-event synopsis/quotes/stats.

Social Media and Campaign Support:
•    Support in setting up and monitoring paid social media campaigns.

About You

  • You have a knack for keeping things tidy and efficient, especially when managing digital content and files.

  • Your creativity shines through in your ability to create compelling digital banners and minor video edits, always adhering to brand guidelines.

  • You are comfortable navigating content management systems and have an understanding of social media platforms and campaign management.

  • Your excellent communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with various teams, and your can-do attitude ensures you are always ready to tackle new challenges.

  • Whether it’s coordinating logistics for meetings or updating web content, you approach each task with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills are a must for this role as you will be dealing with presentations from stakeholders and speakers from across the globe and must prepare these for live broadcast.

  • You will have good knowledge of graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva for creating and editing images, social media graphics, presentations, digital banners, and other visual content with ease.

  • You'll have excellent written communication skills and an eye for design/detail

  • You'll be familiar with editing and updating website/CMS content.
