Gracenote’s Commercial Team  is looking for a skilled professional to join as VP, Automotive Commercial Market Segment Lead, supporting Gracenote’s commercial family. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the business plan, commercial progress, and financial and non-financial KPIs related to your specific market focus, including:
*Stewarding of the Market Segment 3-5 Year Business Plan
*Quarterly & Annual Revenue Targets
*Identifying, Tracking, & Nurturing Key Clients & Opportunities 
*Establishing Executive Level Relationships at the respective Market Segment Top 10 Clients

Responsibilities and Objectives:
  • Build the commercial vision broadly (3-5 years out) based on industry knowledge, client needs and internal feedback
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy and roadmap in the near and long-term, in the US and Globally 
  • Manage the Automotive Sales Team
  • Lead key commercial initiatives to drive focused growth across specific products or go to market
  • Implement improvements within the commercial group to ensure Gracenote is constantly growing & improving
  • Collaborate with customer success & product to ensure Gracenote client expectations are constantly being exceeded
  • Act as a conduit between the Product and Commercial organizations to support Commercial needs and translating feedback into the product strategy and roadmap
  • Strong collaboration with Marketing & Finance to ensure both financial & market KPIs are met quarterly 
  • Review the competitive landscape and user feedback to improve product features and discover product/feature opportunities

  • Qualifications:
  • Experience building a commercial vision & plan, and managing a sales team in a fast-paced & ever-changing environment
  • 8+ years in commercial management with extensive experience in the respective market segment being applied for, as well as operational experience with Salesforce
  • Ability to bring simplicity and structure to ambiguous problems with multiple external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with contemporary Auto Platforms, such as Android, & Tier 1 Integrators (Panasonic, Harmon, Denso,  etc.) 
  • Strong PersonalNetwork amongst Global OEMs, specifically Hyundai, Toyota, Ford, GM, Tesla, etc.

    A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $100,000 - $300,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications, and other business requirements/needs.
